SELF-STUDY Module

The Self-study Module                                                                Next

This self-study Module is designed so that:

  • The core ideas can be covered in about 1.5 hours.
  • If you already have some of the core ideas and knowledge you will be able to identify that at the beginning of each section (through Pre-test questions) and move on quickly.
  • If you are interested in exploring topics in more depth there will be the opportunity to do so.

Each Section within the module has an Overview page (the opening Tab) that includes

  • The essence of the content
  • Pre-test questions – so you can check how much you know and decide whether you need to read more or move on
  • Additional content

Each Section also had additional pages (Tabs) that provide further content – which you can explore to the extent you wish.

Here is an A4 flyer you can use to inform staff about the site and the self-study module.

Next

At the top of each page in the study module is a NEXT button. e.g. at the top if this page is

        Next

It takes you to the NEXT PAGE in the module i.e. Introduction: The knowledge and skills you need.

Note: It does NOT move through TABS on the pages that have tabs. It takes you directly to the NEXT PAGE.

Self-Assessment

At the end of the Module there is a Self-Assessmentt of 30 multiple choice questions.   When you complete the Self-Assessment you will have the option of emailing the questions and your answers to yourself.  You will also be able to view the correct answers.
